Crack! Pop! Sizzle! Ah, another campfire, another life experience! My life has always been an interesting one & I finally get a place to share small tidbits of my life.
*In my story Campfire Stories; Survivor Edition, I explained what happened as a preteen it will give you insight as to why I reacted the way I did in this particular story.*
So here I was on my lunch break. I had an hr to burn & decide to walk across the street to one of my favorite fast food joints. I usually went with friends but I worked a mid shift that day & no one was able to go with me.
I walked across the street (legally mind you) waited at the light until it gave me a walk signal the whole nine yards. Stayed on the side walk not cutting through the grass. I ate & relaxed for a bit before heading back across the street. Repeated the same routine when it came to crossing the street.
So there was a one way entrance in this particular way & anyone who tried to exit that way would normally get a ticket by cops (if they were around &/or stopped by the "security" vehicle if they were near by. I decided to walk on the sidewalk that route instead of going on the sidewalk on the outskirts of the parking lot & the road next to it. Bad mistake!
So I'm walking kinda slowly since I still had more than enough time to get back to the back hallway to clock back in before my lunch was up. I notice a white unmarked, dark tinted windows SUV heading up towards the store closest lane to where the entrance only was at. I kept my pace & kept a sharp eye on the SUV. I was a little more than halfway through the entrance only side walk when it whipped into the entrance only.
I instinctively stepped off of the sidewalk & went further into the grass. I quickened my pace & aggressively put more distance between the SUV & myself while continuing to go towards my work. The SUV stopped & the 3 doors opened. I didn't hesitate, I ran!
I didn't get overly far at all. I felt myself get hit from the side by another body & I fell to the ground. The wind got knocked out of me completely. I couldn't breathe & everything hurt. When I opened my eyes I seen two guns pointed at my face they were wearing all black. The guy who tackled me to the ground had violently flipped me over on my stomach & handcuffed me & hoisted me onto my feet by my arm.
I started freaking out & said that I didn't do anything wrong. One of the guys slapped me in the back of the head & told me that they knew that I couldn't get away. Tears started to flow & I shook in fear as I was being forced to go towards the SUV. Nothing made sense. The SUV was pitch black & the only light that shown was the computer sitting up in the front seat. It wasn't until they called me Elisabeth that I started to become angry...
I started to fight them back. Putting up a fight & prevented them from throwing me in the back of the SUV. I told them that I worked at this store for the past 3 years. None of them believed me. The driver got out & took a closer look at me. He ended up having one of them finger print me as he went back to the driver side & closed the door. They scanned it on their laptop. Only then did they listen & uncuff me.
None of them had Identified themselves to me prior to that nor did they read me my rights. Nothing! They said sorry & drove off. I called the local police station & they told me that it was above their heads & that they couldn't do anything more about it. I did find out why I was treated so badly & aggressively..
So, to my doppelganger Elisabeth... If you ever got released from jail with ALL of shit that you gotten in trouble with & the cop that you ended up killing... If you are reading this. FUCK YOU! Your traumatized non criminal doppelganger
